5 Things I Couldn't Live Without

I haven’t been watching a lot of things on Youtube lately. I’ve been watching so much TV on Netflix and watching movies on HBO. I almost forgot that Youtube even existed. I went on to find the Tuesday press conferences from The Master’s and after I got through a couple of them, I kept getting recommended these same videos from GQ. The videos were all titled “Ten Things insert famous person here Can’t Live Without”. They’ve had so many people go on their show. Obviously, they aren’t actual things they couldn’t live without. It isn’t like GQ has them come in and say food, water and shelter then leave. The ten things are always just things that are important to them, things they like a lot or things they use everyday. Name almost anyone and they’ve done it. I’ve watched these before, but it got me thinking. What can’t I live without? That's gonna be what this post is about. I’m just going to list five things to keep it short and sweet. These aren’t in any particular order because I can’t pick a favorite. The Five Things Max Jones Can’t Live Without:
Any Red/Pink Colored Vitamin Water
This was an easy first addition to the list. I have very easy access to large amounts of Vitamin Water at FIT. The dining hall has a huge fridge full of them and I get one before every class. As I’m writing this I am drinking one. I think everyone knows Vitamin Water’s strongest flavors are all red or slightly pink. I think Vitamin Water is Jesus coming back down to the earth and gracing us with his sweet nectars. One of my biggest wishes in life is that Vitamin Water will start selling gallon jugs so I can buy them in bulk. Vitamin Water!
An Xbox Controller
I was thinking whether I wanted to add something to do with video games on this list. I could live without them, but I don’t want to. I love playing video games, so I chose an Xbox controller to symbolize video games. I think people have an overall negative view on video games, but I couldn’t disagree any stronger. I find it relaxing, stress relieving and a time to hangout with friends without being in person. Lately I have been playing a lot with my friends who go to other colleges or back home. It’s a great way to stay in touch and have fun. My Xbox controller connects to my computer, where I play with my friends, and my Xbox, where I sit back and relax playing my golf games.
A Pair of Jeans
Up until ninth grade, I refused to wear denim jeans. I liked wearing my golf chinos everywhere I went and I wasn’t having it when my dad told me that it was a bad decision. Nowadays I look back and think about how dumb I was. I love jeans! I even sleep in my jeans. They look great dressed up and they look great dressed down. They are comfortable too. I would rather have a hundred pairs of jeans than a single pair of sweatpants.
My Stuffed Animals
I feel like I had to add something on this list that is a little childish because I’m basically still a child. I was thinking about what means a lot to me, but doesn’t get enough recognition. I wanted to just list my family members, but I don’t think listing people on this list is fair. I picked my stuffed animals because they bridge a gap from when I was a little baby all the way till now. I still have my childhood ones and I’ve been getting new ones as gifts from my lovely girlfriend, Violet. I don’t care if you think I'm five years old, but I think cuddling a stuffed animal makes me sleep happier and better. Meaningful and useful, add it to the list!
My Golf Clubs
This one felt like one of the most obvious picks to put on my list. I think I’ve said it enough, but I really love playing golf, watching golf and talking about golf. My golf clubs are one of the most important things in my life. They carry stories, memories and they are just pretty. I’ve been playing golf for just about half my lifetime now and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. It is a way to hangout with my friends, but even more importantly I can hangout with my dad. My golf clubs symbolize so much that it is hard to list. Easy addition to my 5 things I can’t live without!
