Back Home and Hotter Than Hell

Sorry for the late post everyone. I got home late last night and completely forgot that today was supposed to be a post day. I’m used to everytime I come home it being the weekend so I don't have to write anything. After I got home, I unpacked the car and brought everything into my room. I had spent the last three days cleaning our apartment, so for some reason I assumed my room at home would be clean. I am such an idiot. My room is a mess! There is stuff everywhere and I have to move back in 90% of my belongings and find them a space to go. I haven’t fully unpacked yet. I just want to enjoy a day or two. Then I’ll do a deep clean, rearrange my bedroom’s layout and put everything in its new home. As soon as I got home, I knew exactly how I’d spend today. Golf course. Come hell or high water I was going to play. It kind of felt like hell outside to be honest. It was hotter than all fucks. I was sweating like a water fountain. I decided to use a push cart and try to walk eighteen holes. I was vaguely successful. Mid way through the eighth hole, my friend Ethan joined me. Last summer, Ethan and I took a cart every single time. He decided to walk with me, but we both shortly realized walking the rest was going to suck. My sister, Bella, joined us after the ninth hole. She came along with a cart and saved Ethan from the rolling hills of Leatherstocking’s back nine. I shortly thereafter convinced Bella to push my clubs for me. We swapped on and off and finally made it to the last few holes. I played pretty well for only playing here and there. Usually I’d be twenty or so rounds into the season. Right now I’m at three! Ethan and I got lunch after the round and decided to go and try to get a few more holes in. In the afternoon round, I was trying out different swing thoughts and trying hard spots to get up-and-down from around the greens. It cooled down and it was very enjoyable. I love playing golf with people. My dad will always take the number one spot, but Ethan is definitely up there and so is Bella. We talked about the golf swing, gave each other advice and caught up after a long semester. I’m excited to play more with Bella this summer. Last year, no offense, but she couldn’t really swing the club. I don’t know what she took or injected, but she can hit rockets here and there. Her club speed must’ve doubled! Very impressive to those who don’t play. If the worst thing that happens in my day is a bad golf shot, then my life is pretty fucking great. I realized I have an awful memory about so many things. If my mom tells me to walk the dogs, I’ll totally forget. I could go out on the golf course right now and place my ball exactly where each shot landed today. I gave Violet the eighteen hole rundown, but I won’t bore you guys too! Happy Wednesday and I’ll try to get a post out earlier on Friday. Oops!
