Big Birthday Bash!

Sorry if there isn’t great grammar or a lot of writing mistakes on this post. I’m on the train home right now as I write this. I know I usually have quirks in my writing, but I’m sure it’ll be a little worse today. I’m heading home for a multitude of reasons this weekend. It was kind of perfect timing all around. I’ve been so stressed about getting work done the last two weeks and I need a break. I’ve been listed as a starter for the all-time procrastination team. I did not work on anything and it certainly caught up to me. I’m all caught up now and it’s time to have some fun back home. It’s a big birthday weekend and I’m ready to celebrate. I don’t know what qualifies as a “big” birthday weekend, but there are two that I’m celebrating. They are both today, so it’s not really the weekend either. Whatever, I’m celebrating! It’s my mom’s birthday today and also one of my closest friends, Charlie’s. Happy Birthday Momma! Happy Birthday Charlie! I’m not exactly sure what I’m doing for my mom’s birthday. I haven’t seen her that much lately so I’m planning on just hanging out and enjoying whatever she wants to do. We might have a family dinner or I guess an eighty percent family dinner. Phoebe really messes that whole percentage thing up. I’m assuming my friends are going to have a boy’s night to celebrate Charlie’s eighteenth birthday. Charlie being eighteen feels weird. I feel like he should permanently be fifteen or something. I love celebrating other people’s birthdays. There’s nobody constantly bothering you, but you get to enjoy whatever the person picks, which is usually fun. Every time I come home I try to pack as many things in as possible. Birthdays are a hard thing to plan around. I’m so bad at planning. I know I want to play golf with my dad at some point. The course just opened and I’ve been itching to get out there. I want to see Violet as much as possible too. It always ends up working out. My Tuesday morning class got canceled so maybe I’ll have extra time to spread the birthday cheer this weekend.
