Cold, Wet, and Uninterested

As an avid climate change denier, I am surprised that it is raining in December. It doesn’t really make any sense, and I am very over it. I know there was snow on Thanksgiving upstate, but not in the city. It rained all Thanksgiving Day. It has also rained every day this week so far. I actually don’t mind the rain, but this isn't just rain—it is a terribly cold rain. It is just way too gloomy for me. The weather needs to pick a fucking struggle. It was 70 degrees one day and then 40 degrees the next. Why is it summer weather in what is supposed to be fall? And why is it winter weather too? This shitty weather perfectly matches the mood around FIT this week. Everyone seems so meh about finals. To be honest, so am I! I just finished my last academic class tonight. I had a final exam on Monday and then a presentation tonight. I think both went pretty well. I only have my screen printing classes left. I am already done with my final for both classes, so at this point, it is just a showing-up grade. I did pretty well this semester, despite having a hard time balancing school, RA stuff, and working every weekend. I thought my grades would be struggling, but so far, not so much. I didn’t really enjoy my classes this semester, but my professors were pretty good. I’ve been telling people that I’m more excited for this semester’s ending than I was to graduate high school. If you know me, you know I was extremely excited to graduate high school. This semester wasn’t inspiring like last year was. Nothing made me say “Wow!” Last year, it felt like every class was new and fresh, but this year everything is super redundant or boring. I hope my next semester is a bit better. I have a public speaking class, which I am very excited for—I love to talk. I am also taking an English course over the winter. Tonight is a night to celebrate and eat some KFC.
