It’s 11:18 PM and my phone is at 9%. I’m honestly not sure this post will be on time. To cover my ass, I’ll give a very quick apology for having another late post. I’m sorry. I’ve been out all day and knew I had to get this done. I got a surprise visit from Declan on his birthday and I was more focused on having a good time than writing something no one reads. Also, fuck you if you want to correct my grammar on this post. As soon as it is done, I’m posting it! Disclaimer, there is no ChatGPT editing on this. I’m trying not to root my own horn here, but I’ve had a few people tell me I should do stand up comedy. I don’t think people realize that stand up comedy is completely different from making a small group of people laugh during a conversation. I guess the timing part of it is similar, but stand up comedy you are up there by yourself. Not having anyone to bounce of must be impossible. I’ve wanted to go to a comedy show in the city for a while now. I went to see Dave Chappelle at MSG, but that’s completely different. It’s not terribly intimate, it’s just funnier than shit. A lot of them are twenty one and over, so I can’t. I finally got my opportunity tonight! It was great! We went to two different shows in Greenwich Village. The small venue makes it so the comedians can rip into you. We had a few comedians give us shit and it was great. I would definitely go back. When one of them was funny, it was great. When they bomb, its just terrible. It just gets uncomfortable. There were definitely a few comedians that need to find a new career path. I definitely learned that I would not be able to do that. The first place was good, but you could tell the talent levels were different. The second place was much better. I’m not sure what I’m doing for my twenty-first birthday, but I’d love to go to the comedy clubs again! I might make reservations in advance for one of the better, well known venues. My phone has died theee times, but BUZZER BEATER! 11:56!!! Sorry for a shitty quick post, but happy Monday everyone! Happy twenty-first birthday Dec!
