First Week Done

I’m one-fifteenth of the way done with my spring semester. Yippee! It was a pretty good first week of classes. Out of the four semesters I’ve started here, this was probably only the third best. It started off really well—my first class of the week was canceled, and my second class had a really fun professor with a lot of people I know. Then things started to go downhill. My Tuesday morning professor is very nice, and I know a lot of people in the class, but she definitely runs a tight ship. I think I’ll learn a lot, so that’s probably a good thing. My second class on Tuesday will be hell on earth. Unprepared professors are a huge annoyance to me. I had high hopes for this Public Speaking class, but I was let down once again. My morning class today was pretty good, but four hours long with no break and no technology is crazy. It’s called The Other Hollywood: Film in New York, and the professor played two movies and two short films on the first day. That is very hard to stay awake for at nine in the morning. I really enjoyed the movies, though. Next week, I’ll just need a Red Bull. I just found out that my professor for my Art and Design class dropped out, and we got a new professor. That was the class that was canceled, so I guess that makes sense. I saw The Brutalist again last night. This was my third time seeing it, and it was probably my favorite viewing yet. It definitely made waking up this morning harder since I didn’t get back to my dorm until 12:45. God, that movie is so beautiful. Please go see it if you haven’t already. If you have, then go see it again! I’ve been playing a lot of Minecraft lately, which has slightly affected my movie-watching capabilities. I’m not watching at the highest efficiency—I’m just trying to keep up with my sister! Short post today, but I don’t have much to say. See you Friday!
