Home And Happy!

This won’t be a terribly long post because I'm on my way to go out with my friends. It’ll also probably be a grammar police’s worst nightmare, so once again I apologize. What a fucking great week it has been. I’ve been trying to enjoy everything the best I can, and it’s the happiest I’ve felt in a while. This week is always my favorite of the year because of The Masters. Outside of the tournament, it had just been a happy week. Seeing my family, friends, and being home is great. Yesterday we drove all the way to Cooperstown from Augusta, stopping in Washington DC to pick up Phoebe. It was a slightly brutal drive, but it was fun. I don’t know if this is TMI (too much information), but I was super gassy the whole trip. I think (I know) it was the Buc-ee’s beef jerky. I didn’t mind, but the other passengers thought it wasn’t good. Although the golf yesterday left a sour McIlroy taste in my mouth, today was fucking awesome. I’m so excited to watch the weekend. My two favorite golfers (one who signed my flag and one who didn’t) in the final two groups. Fucking awesome. I’m so fucking excited, I can’t say it enough. I played golf with my dad today after Rory finished his electric round. I knew it was going to be rough. I hadn’t swung a club in eight months. There was definitely some (a lot) of rust, but signs of positivity. I can’t wait to get back out playing consistently again. Hopefully it will be a good season going forward. I lost some cash off my dad again today, but he hasn’t come to collect yet. Now I’m going out in Binghamton with the boys. I haven’t been here in a year, which feels crazy. I was initially worried about missing The Masters tomorrow, but Treston promised an early turn around. I’m going to enjoy my night and sign off here. It was another quick but sweet update. Have a great weekend! Happy Friday!
