I Didn't Forget!

I'm lying in bed right now waiting for my dad to get home from work. I’ve been scrolling on TikTok for a while now. I got my drawing for the day done over an hour ago. This happens quite a lot, especially recently, but I almost forgot to post a blog! I really loved writing these in school because I was on such a set schedule. I woke up for my nine-in-the-morning classes, got out at twelve, and then went back to my dorm to finish my drawing for the day. While my paint dried, I’d start writing my post for the day. I’d get mostly done and then finish my drawing. After I was totally done with the drawing, I’d finish the post, edit it, and then publish. Since the start of the summer, I haven’t really been on a set schedule. My work is pretty set, but I have so many plans that I just have to fit things in where and when I can. That means sometimes I do the post at four in the afternoon, and sometimes they don’t get done until eleven at night. It's very hard to get these done and feel confident about them. It’s even harder to stay consistent and power through. I started writing this as soon as I realized, “Holy fuck! It’s already ten-thirty?!”. I’m way too forgetful. I wish I was someone who could wake up at the same time every day, go to sleep at the same time, and be extremely productive. Work just drains me. Who knew thirty children between the ages of five and twelve could be so exhausting? Playing out in the sun all day also takes it out of me too. I try my best to get these out at a reasonable hour, but I’m proud they still get done. It’d be worse if I was totally okay with missing them. I have the analytics and can tell when the best time to post these is. It’s definitely not this late at night. If this is a very late-night read for you, thank you! If this is an early-morning read, thank you! And if you don’t see this until midday, I still would love to thank you! Happy Friday, everyone! Enjoy the weekend!
