Is it Thanksgiving Yet?

I'm back in NYC and I think I'm ready for it to be Thanksgiving break already. I love it here and I'm totally content waiting a week to go home, but my cat just got a new tail "haircut" and I want to see that silly shit in person. I've always viewed Thanksgiving as a major holiday. I thought it was one of biggest actually, but these last few years it hasn't felt that way. High schools barely give off anytime, college gives me a day and a half. What is that shit?! I thought when we were in elementary school we got a whole week off. I guess not. I love the turkey and the cranberry sauce. Lather me in cranberry sauce and let me sleep. Pause. I like it when everyone gets together and talks about nice things. Now that Phoebe and I aren't living in the house and Bella commutes to college, it isn't often all five of us are together under one roof. Six if you include the all wonderful, Keegan. That's what I'm most excited for over break. Family. The next thing is all my friends being back in Cooperstown. There's so many people I haven't seen since August and so many of my friends that seeing them every once in awhile is too little. I've been lucky to see so many people since leaving for school, but there can always be more. I'm excited to see my friends, I'm giddy about getting to hangout with Violet. That's probably the most exciting. I don't like long distance at all. No good. Bad review. I like being closer. 0/10. I hope my parents are excited to have me back. I don't know why they wouldn't be. I'm gonna eat so much food. At least relatively, so much to me. Tuesday into Wednesday is probably my favorite time of week. I get to hangout at the jewelry studio. Sheri finally let me do chores for her, which I was so excited to actually be helpful instead of just following everyone around and being in the way. Christopher, one of the very talented jewelers, taught me how to stamp metal. I got to stamp my one bracelet. Very bad ass. Military black is my shit. This post was all over the place. Sorry, not sorry (Two words, Fuck 'Em). See you lovely people Friday.
