Madison Square Garden

I had never been to MSG before I started college in the city. There has been plenty of concerts I've wanted to go to, but it just never happened. I was so excited to go to what ever shows I wanted now that I am four blocks away. Sadly that isn't close to the reality. That big circular arena is a big fucking tease. It sits so damn close to me, but makes everything so expensive. I really want to go to a Knicks or Rangers game. I almost bought tickets to see the Knicks play the Suns, but they were too expensive. I love Kevin Durant and was sad to miss him at the Garden, but it turns out he was injured anyway. So if I bought the tickets, it would've been a waste. I'm not a huge hockey fan, I think it would be a cool experience. I feel like complaining about the prices of concerts and sporting events is just bitching. Yes, I am bitching. There is no reason a seat in the RAFTERS for the fifth hockey game of the week should be $180. That's nuts! Since I got here, I have seen two shows at MSG. I saw Dave Chappelle my first week here. No regrets, it was fucking awesome. I love Dave Chappelle. I'm Rick James, Bitch! It was expensive, but I treated myself to a "starting college, out on my own" kind of present. Billy Joel was the next show I went to. I have nothing against Billy. He has some bangers, but it wasn't my favorite show ever. I wish they had a college discount at the box office. That would be amazing. I've really enjoyed Ritz crackers lately. I eat a whole sleeve in one sitting. I keep thinking these weeks will get more exciting, but they are actually quite boring. i thought end of the semester was going to kill me. I get to see Violet this Saturday. YAY! Happy Wednesday!
