Pick A Struggle

The weather needs to pick a fucking struggle. One day, it’ll be snowing. Then the next day, it’ll rain. Then it’ll feel like April for a day or two. But of course that won’t stay for long, because it’ll go back to a nipple-hardening twenty degrees. As a climate change denier, this really doesn’t help my case. It’s crazy how different the weather is in the city versus upstate. Yesterday, Cooperstown looked like a winter horror-land. The wind was blowing like a motherfucker, and the snow was coming down. New Year’s Eve gave us some rain, which then combined with snow to make slush. I drove Keegan home and couldn’t see anything. I might’ve been driving on top of the yellow line, and I would never have known. I was complaining about how long the summer felt. I apologize, Baby Jesus. I would like it to be 70 degrees so I can wear my cute seersucker shorts. I took the weather for granite. No, I took it for granted. Granite is a rock, dumbass. I’m writing this on my lunch break. I’m sitting in the Chipotle on 68th Street and 3rd Avenue. I swear they put double rice, not double meat. Bunch of fucking scam artists. If their food wasn’t God’s 14th gift, then I’d never be seen at a shady establishment like this! I didn’t bring a winter coat to the city this time. I just have a leather jacket. I’m cold, but at least I look good. I’m going to the movies again tonight. I tried going last week after I saw Babygirl, but work made me way too tired. The movie I’m seeing is three and a half hours long. The only showings I can make are at 8:30 or 9:45. Why can’t they have a 7:30? That’d be so nice, but no! They want me to get out at 12:00 AM or later. The things you do for cinema, I guess. I’m worried because I had Indian food for dinner last night, and I don’t have wet wipes. TMI, but you read this far, so that’s on you. Wish me luck! I need to do my English class homework too. I guess I need to pick a struggle. I don’t have much to say today, but I’ll see you on Monday.
