Reiterating A Purpose

Last blog post was the first time I've had people reply to my Instagram story after I posted the link. It was also the first time someone told me to "stop yapping". If you know me, you should know I'll never stop yapping. I'm not sure why it was said and it could've been a joke. I understand if it was just a joke, but this is still a good opportunity to discuss something at mind. I usually have my mom or sister telling me how much they loved the post, but I usually don't get other people saying much. A comment from Big Dave here and there, maybe a "loved your post" from Charlie or a "that was really sweet" from my dad. I'm happy with that. They're the people I love and they're comments mean the most to me. I wanted to post this today just to reiterate the purpose of this blog. This blog is solely meant for me to be able to yap. I love to yap and I love to yap about things I like. That's why this is here. my friends tell me they don't read these all of the time. I couldn't care less. I actually appreciate them telling me, instead of pretending like they do. Of course I'd love it if my friends read every post, but if you don't like the content, don't read it. I understand that. This is here for me and those who happen to enjoy hearing what I have to say. I like that it has been that way and I hope to keep it that way. I'm really fucking proud of myself. Today's post marks TEN weeks straight without missing a post. That's three posts a week too. I'm so proud of that. I've never been good at keeping a schedule, you saw that with the podcast (which might make a return soon). We aren't done yet though. There's more to come and I appreciate everyone that has read one of my yaps. This blog is for me, but it means a lot that some of you follow me along! Have a great weekend!
