Sharm's Takeover!

I have asked a few times for people to write guest posts here and people usually respond that they want to. It doesn’t always work out and I totally understand. People are busy and this isn’t anyone’s priority. However, I happened to ask one of my very close friends if she would be open to writing today’s post at the very last minute and she said yes! I haven’t even read it yet as I am writing this, so I’m excited! I hope you enjoy it. Here you go! 

Hello! This is not max, Nay! This is Sharmishtha (I also go by Sharm). Max and I met this past August during RA training and we have now become good friends (Love you Max!). I was asked to guest write a blog post and I feel incredibly honored. Did I know what to write? No! But I love a lot of things so I’m gonna write about some of them right now. 

I LOVEEEEE my family, my friends, everything about art, animals, rom-coms, and food. 

My family: Boy do I adore my family, they’re just the best. I am very lucky to be from Long Island and can go home often to visit them. I visit them a lot. They’re all really cool, smart, I love talking with them, and we all love food. I always love and miss them.

My friends: I’m incredibly lucky to know the people I do and I love them SOOO MUCH. I have met incredible people that are all so different and have shaped how I am and I’m so grateful. (that's corny but true) 

The Arts: Art! Writing, fashion, painting, poetry, music, film. Ugh. Lowkey I think that anything related to the arts is just the best, if not the best thing in life. The fact that humans created this stuff is flipping awesome and so beautiful. The fact that I’m writing this right now is so cool especially when you think about how words are words and have meaning. #beautiful #art

Animals: When thinking about animals, I’m always like wow. It is so cool that we live amongst these creatures that are so interesting, and beautiful. My favorites are Cows, Pandas, Seals, and dogs. One of my dreams when I was younger was to be able to shrink any animal, specifically a panda, and just keep that tiny panda in my pocket. 

Rom-coms: My all time favorite genre of film. I love Valentine's Day. Love is beautiful and when combined with comedic timing and cool visuals, it is my favorite type of movie. Rom-coms are so comforting and here is a list of some of my favorites. It goes: While You Were Sleeping, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Bridget Jones Diary, When Harry Met Sally, and Mamma Mia! These movies I consider 10/10 and that is all. 

Food: I just love food.
