Spring Break!

Our spring break seems to be a week or two later than most schools, but it is finally here! My spring break technically starts today after my morning class. I have a few plans for the break, and I’m definitely excited to go home for a little bit of time. Tomorrow is my one-year anniversary with Violet, so my first plans over the break are to celebrate with her. The fact that it is only our one-year anniversary feels crazy. It feels like we could be celebrating our two or even three years. It’s been almost three weeks since I’ve seen Violet, and that's way too long. Celebrating our anniversary should hopefully make up for some lost time. I get home tomorrow night and am home until early Wednesday morning. Then I am heading back to the city with my dad to see a concert and staying the night in my dorm. After that, I think I’m going to come back home for the rest of the break. I see a lot of people going to cool places and doing fun things over their breaks. I’m so glad I don’t have to stress about traveling and can just hang out with Violet, my friends, and my family. I was hoping the golf course in Cooperstown would be open by now so I could play a little over break. It has been very nice down here in the city, and I assumed it was the same upstate. Nope, apparently not! I didn’t know I was going back to a frozen, snow-glazed tundra. Maybe I’ll try to go to the simulator at the gym, but it's not the same. I don’t know whether it will be my first or second dinner at home, but you know damn well I am going to Cooley’s as fast as I can. A bit short of a post today, but hopefully, the break will bring along some great stories, news, or ideas to talk about. Happy Friday and have a great weekend!
