Tee Shirts Coming Soon

I wear a tee shirt everyday. Now that it's getting colder outside, I obviously wear something over it to stay warm, but I do wear one everyday. It's the most basic piece of clothing anybody can wear. Which actually makes it difficult to design. The tee shirt market is so saturated. You have people making and selling millions of tee shirts everyday. Recently, I've been designing a small line of tee shirts to get WTF. Studios going. We are thinking of just doing four or five shirts for the first release. Although I could just make four or five designs and call it a day, I've tried making as many possible shirts as possible to make sure we pick the best ones for the first release. It's hard to innovate such a basic item of clothing and I think that's okay. I mean a cool/unique design is the reason you wear a tee shirt. You wear what you like. It's hard finding what a mass group of people will like. Especially when you don't know if people will buy them. I think that's what held me back over the last two years. Caring what people will like and dislike. I tell myself that's there's nothing different between me and millions of others. Self belief is a hard thing to pull together. There's an interview with Tyler, The Creator and a girl asks him how to get a brand going. Tyler asks her why she hasn't started yet and she just responds "I'm scared". He tells her to just not care what people think and to make something that she likes. I'm scared, but I do believe in my product. These tee shirts will be out in the world in the next month or so. I keep telling myself it's the start and that's important to keep in mind. WTF. Studios has potential and we are seeing that through. I can't wait for people to see what we are capable of making.
