The weather has been so great in the city, so I thought it would be the exact same at home. I know the weather is usually around ten degrees colder in Cooperstown, but it is not nice here. Well, it's clear blue skies, but it is covered in snow. That makes it not nice. There is more snow over my spring break than there was for my whole winter break. Mother Nature certainly likes to mess with us nowadays. There was a torrential downpour in the city on Friday, so I assumed it also rained here. Nope! Snow. I love snow, but time and place, Mother Nature. I went on a hike with two of my friends yesterday. I thought the trail would be cleared at least a little bit, but I was breathing like a dying gorilla trying to walk through the snow. I don’t know how gorillas breathe when they die, but I imagine it sounds like me almost vomiting from being out of breath. The trail we went on is about thirty minutes away. That's totally a guess; that's how long it felt to get there, but I don’t know. It could’ve been fifteen and I’m stupid. It was in total bumblefuck nowhere and in the backyard of a school that must only have a graduating class of ten kids. You’d think going to this place that it'd be a shitty trail, but it was great. There were some crazy waterfalls and caves to explore. I had been there before, but when I was in elementary school. I drank from the waterfall of youth. It made my face freezing cold, but god that water tasted amazing. I ate snow here and there. I liked kicking and punching icicles off the ceilings of the caves. It made a great noise. Very satisfying, very satisfying. Today I’m going to play some pickleball with my friends and their families. I haven’t played in a while and I’m excited. My dad caught the invite as well and he's an absolute cat on the court. He can reach anything, he can return anything, and I’m pretty sure he has nine lives left still. I’m okay at pickleball. We played so much over the summer and golf season. It's very competitive, but somehow relaxing at the same time. Shout out to my all-time favorite pickleball player, Talie Hanson! We are playing indoors, which kinda sucks. I hate gym floors and they hate me. I got a haircut today too. Very exciting. I love my mullet and I want to parade it around the world. Happy Monday!

Team mullet. Suck the marrow young man. Absolutely suck it!
