Why Do I Love Going To Cornelia Street?

I don't think if you payed me $1,000 I could recite more than one lyric from the iconic "Lover" song, but that isn't the point of this post. It's about finding the teeny tiny things that make you happy and one of those things for me is going to Cornelia Street. I would consider myself a Swiftie, definitely not a die hard, but I appreciate Taylor. Her music isn't my favorite, but there are so many memories that I associate with Ms. Swift. She reminds me of my family. That small reminder of my family is enough for me to make the 25 minute walk to Greenwich Village. The reminder of the cardigan my sister always wears, of how my mom got all dressed up in glitter to go to the Eras Tour and how could I forget my dad listening to Taylor covering "Bette Davis Eyes" all the time? The rush of happiness these small memories bring me is worth any walk. Cornelia Street is one of many small things I associate with people. I highly suggest making quick connections to things you love. Whether it's a song, color or some random coffee concoction Starbuck's makes. Make connections and enjoy when those obscure moments come up. Seek them out and share them. I recently took my sister to see Taylor's old townhouse on Cornelia Street and I'll never forget her visiting me for the first time since I moved in. Connect and enjoy.

I love it
